BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS
If you are aged 40 or over and have not had your blood pressure checked within the last 12 months, we strongly advise you to book an appointment with one of our nurses as soon as possible. Depending on availability, we may be able to offer you an appointment the same day or within 48 hours.

It is important that you ensure we are kept informed of any changes to your address or contact telephone or mobile numbers. If you have a new mobile phone contact number, please help us to help you by informing us of any change.
Electronic Prescribing Service (EPS2)
This service went live on the 20th February 2012. To learn more click on the link under the heading 'Further Information' on the far right.
We have a Minor Surgery Clinic for the removal of small lesions such as Skin tags.
Please speak to the receptionist for further details.
Out of Hours
If you have an emergency outside surgery hours please telephone NHS 111
Please note :each year the Health Authority carries out a list cleansing exercise to remove the names of patients who have left the practice.
If you receive a letter from the Health Authority, then please make sure that you take the time to respond to that letter.
In the event that you don't respond, you will be automatically removed from our list.
Please telephone for these after 3.00pm. Results can only be given to the person who had the test done. Smear results will be notified by post.
We operate the Advanced Access system at the surgery.
You can telephone at any time during surgery hours to book an appointment in advance-that is, not for that day.
We shall endeavour to give you an appointment with the clinician of your choice but this will not always be possible.
If you feel you need to see a doctor or nurse on that day, our reception staff will take some brief details and you will be offered a call back from one of our clinicians, who will discuss matters with you and will offer you an appointment later that day if there is a medical need for you to be seen. Please be aware that our telephone number may not be displayed on your phone when you are called back and should not be mistaken for a cold call or sales call.
Only ONE problem per consultation please
CARE DATA SHARING. On 19th February 2014, NHS England announced that the data extraction of patients' medical records will be delayed for six months until the autumn. If you wish to opt out, we will have a form for you to complete nearer the time, on which you can express your wish to be excluded from this process.
